CTFMON.EXE Running as a process in a citrix session

CTFMON.EXE activates the Alternative User Input Text Input Text Input Processor (TIP) and the Microsoft Office Language Bar. This is no nessessary under a Citrix environment, so the best thing to do is to remove it from the server.
  • Goto Add & Rmove Programs
  • Select Office XP and choose to add & remove a feature.
  • Click the cross next to Office Shared Feature -> Alternative User Input.
  • Make sure you make Alternative User Input Unavailable.
Or
  • Click Start and then click Run

  • In the Run dialog box, type the following command:
  • Regsvr32.exe /u msimtf.dll
  • Click OK.
  • Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the Msctf.dll file
